On July 25th the SLC put on their 20th annual show.  It was a tremendous success even though the vehicle count was down about 30 cars. We had a total of 135 registered vehicles. It was a very hot Saturday but everyone enjoyed the event and was able to keep cool with ice cream and snow cones.

Thanks to numerous sponsors we had 39 award winners which were all very nice entries. 

We do have many T-shirts and tank tops remaining.  If anyone still wants one or would like extras, please go to the contact page and send us your information. The shirts are $7.00 each plus shipping.

Bob McCarty has been the SLC treasurer for many years and has proven to be a very valuable club member.  He has always been willing to do anything that was needed of him and  attended to many of the operations that required being done to put on a top notch car show. Bob has decided that it is time to take his lifestyle in a different direction and  therefore resigned as treasurer. Bob's dedication will be dearly missed.

Carol Middleton has volunteered to take over Bob’s position and will assume his show responsibilities.  Her fresh mind will bring new ideas to our yearly event, although you should not see major changes.

Although club membership has dropped in recent years, the majority of you have stated that you would like to see the club continue...continue we will.
